We have had many wonderful celebrative occasions with Chef Luca catering. From family cooking classes, private intimate lunches, corporate events to birthday celebrations. The whole experience from designing the menu with you, embracing everyone’s desires and needs, makes the experience so much more pleasurable and personable.
Chef Luca’s food and presentation is outstanding, sourced from quality providers and combining Italian custom and personality. Starting with an unmissable entrée of Stracciatella and mushrooms, porcini pangrattato, fresh black truffle. Secondi handmade tagliatelle, Barolo braised octopus sauce, black olives and celery crumb, followed by Luca’s famous Tiramisu, caramelised white chocolate, mascarpone, marsala and orange cream. BELLISIMO !!!
Everything’s just so considered and tied together with Chef Luca’s unequivocal desire to provide impeccable flavours, ingredients and a service style to allow the diners to relax and enjoy a memorable experience.

Absolutely outstanding! The food, dining experience, and ambiance that Chef Luca and his team bring to your home are unforgettable.

We have used this service for two intimate family events, and it will definitely not be the last. The lobster pasta, T-bone steak, Kingfish, and panna cotta for dessert are honestly 10/10. Our guests have not stopped raving about how divine the whole experience was.

We did a private cooking class with Chef Luca at home and had such a great time. We cooked 2 entrees and a main. The cavatelli pasta was to die for! We learnt so much about how to make the pasta dough, the right portions, how to build flavour in the pasta sauce, it was amazing. Chef Luca made it so easy and fun and I can’t wait to do it again!

My partner and I were looking to organise a group dinner with a few friends for a birthday celebration. We were looking to go out to have the usual restaurant experience but instead thought “why not plan something unique with everyone at home?”
We searched online and spoke to a few friends, who pointed us to Chef Luca’s instagram page. We were wowed when we saw his dishes, the comments under the pictures and how well they presented.
I rang Luca and he was very understanding of what we were looking for, he came to our place and he was super organised, efficient and highly professional. The antipasti, the crab pasta and dessert were unbelievably amazing. Hard to put into words how delicious everything was, probably the best Italian food we’ve ever had in Australia.
To top it off, Luca was great company, telling us his background as a chef, the dishes and wines of his region in Italy.
We would definitely recommend this experience to everyone.
We can’t wait to do it all over again
